The Travel Series is a truly unique range of ukuleles. They are made almost entirely from ABS plastic, but with a wooden top. The TUS35 has a linden plywood top with wiped colour satin finish. The arched back, plastic body allows for great sound projection, but also fantastic durability. There is no binding between with body and neck, which is also plastic and so will not bend. Green is the color of our planet’s lungs. Breathe musical life into your atmosphere with the Flight DUC380 CEQ Topaz Concert Ukulele. Green will also be the color of envy when others see this amazing instrument. As intimate as a quiet forest or as open as the Savannah, this uke is an instrument you won’t want far from your side.
The concert size brings the best of both worlds into one instrument. The mahogany makes this uke sing like a soprano, but the scale length and cutaway means you will have the same scope of fret exploration as a tenor uke. Add into the mix a pickup and you have a ukulele that you can play on your own or to a crowd.
Plastic Fantastic! Conventional wisdom will say that plastic ukuleles are cheap, low-quality substitutes for “the real thing”. Well, it’s time to kick conventional wisdom out the door! Built unapologetically from plastic, the sound quality of these ukuleles will blow you away, and their durability will make them Keith Richards’ instrument of choice after Armageddon hits. These ukes are perfect for rainy festivals, cramped overhead lockers, moody teenagers, and ukulele teachers working with young children. Very unique and innovative product Bright & Funky Extremely resonant Wiped color satin finish Zero fret No sharp frets No neck bending Durable, travel friendly Perfect for children and first time learners Thanks to a wider arched ABS back, this baby has more volume in middle range than your average soprano, while also resonating better and sounding brighter. It is needless to mention the durability and resistance to humidity changes, the main enemies of the wooden ukuleles. The neck and fingerboard of the TUS-35 are made from ABS plastic. It is a perfect solution for entry class ukuleles, since it is not prone to any weather changes. You will never get a sharp fret or bent neck in any of our Travel ukuleles. The neck surface imitates the wood pattern, to avoid a feeling of cheap plastic. Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. The headstock veneer of TUS35 is made of linden and matches the color of the top. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully-designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always stay in tune. Color: Purple Body Style: Soprano Ukulele Type: Acoustic Ukulele Top: Sitka Spruce Finish: Satin
Light or dark? Choose both! The DUS320 CEQ is a true all-rounder ukulele. The laminate spruce top and laminate zebrawood sides combine to deliver a sound that is punchy and bright when soloing in the high register and warm and velvety when thoughtfully strumming by the fireplace. Finally, you can have it both ways! The pickup, not usually installed on sopranos, features a tuner, saving you a headache of remembering where placed the tuner the night before. And of course, you have the freedom to plug-in wherever and whenever you like, giving this tiny uke a chance to shine on stage!
Looks like a zebra, roars like a lion! Like its little brother, the DUC525 is a lovely concert ukulele with a tone that is both punchy and warm, thanks to the unique combination of a spruce solid top and laminate zebrawood body. Featuring an arched back and a built-in pickup, you will be amazed at the massive sound this ukulele will give you, for years to come.
Fantastic plastic! Popular lore says that plastic ukuleles are the cheap and poor quality substitutes for wooden ukes. It's time to drive popular lore out of the house! Being made of plastic, without any kind of tampering, the sound quality of these ukuleles will leave you surprised. And their durability will make them Keith Richards' preferred choice after being the sole survivor of the extinction of the human race. These ukuleles are perfect for rainy festivals, overcrowded closets, teenagers mad at the universe, and ukulele teachers working with children.
Made of distressed laminate spruce and laminate zebrawood, the Flight DUS330 Relic is a very unique ukulele. Many players tell us that an instrument that looks like it’s been through a tornado, a fire, and gigged a few thousand times is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. Is it the promise of a broken-in feel, maybe that every ding and scratch tells a tale, or the romantic memory of the instruments our idols played? The answer – is all of those. And while we can’t replicate the history of an instrument, we present you with the first ever “distressed” ukulele (we checked).. It has that “broken-in feel” and will remind you of some of the most memorable moments in history. A unique “distressed” look gives the Flight DUS330 Relic a cool vintage vibe. We wanted it to feel just like an old friend, with whom you’ve been through a lot.
